Meet Fish

Traveler, teacher, planner, food lover, wine drinker, and the person behind Little Fish Travels.

A Personal Way Into Asia

Fish was born in China, later studied and worked in the United States, and has lived across different parts of the world. She speaks Chinese, English and Japanese, and knows a little Thai from the eight months she spent teaching in Thailand.

Before creating Little Fish Travels, Fish spent 11 years working in international schools and American high schools as a teacher and then a dean. That experience shaped the way she travels: not by simply telling people what to see, but by creating situations where they can observe, taste, ask, feel, and form their own understanding.

A Life Shaped by Travel

Between years of teaching and school life, travel was where Fish felt most alive.

She planned trips for friends and family long before Little Fish Travels existed. She loved finding the right hotel, the right meal, the right walking route, the right small detail that made a place open up. On the road, she met strangers who became friends, and found versions of herself that felt more curious, more inspired, and more free.

Fish believes travel is not an escape from life. It is a way of returning to life with wider eyes.

The Fish Style

  • No Checklists

Fish does not design trips around ticking off famous sights. Each journey is built around depth, texture and feeling.

  • Small and Personal

Groups stay small so the experience can feel intimate, flexible and carefully held.

  • Eat Well, Drink Well, Sleep Well

Fish is a serious eater, a wine drinker and a detail person. Travelling with her means the meals, hotels, routes and small comforts matter.

  • Designed with Care

Every journey is something Fish has imagined, researched and loved into shape. She cares about the places, the people who host you, and the guests who choose to come.
