Why This Journey

This journey begins in Guangzhou, a gentle and delicious entry into southern China, where dim sum, Cantonese hospitality, and urban ease create a soft landing.

From there, the route moves by high-speed rail into Guilin and Yangshuo, where China’s mountain-and-water beauty appears in its most iconic form.

The journey then enters Guizhou, where the landscape becomes more intimate and handmade. In Kaili, guests encounter the living culture of the Miao people through embroidery, silver craft, mountain ingredients, herbal wellness and home-style food traditions.

The route continues to Anshun and Huangguoshu Waterfall, where karst landscapes, powerful water scenery, and beloved local snacks reveal another side of southwest China. It ends in Chongqing, a city of cliffs, rivers, bridges, hot springs, hotpot and neon lights.

Together, this journey moves from soft southern elegance to limestone peaks, living craft, waterfall landscapes and one of China’s most dramatic urban finales.
